The Baby Cot Shop’s Founder, Toks Aruoture, is the new face of London billboards

Have you spotted our founder Toks Aruoture on billboards around the capital promoting accounting company Sage? Here’s everything you need to know about The Baby Cot Shop’s latest (and extremely exciting) collaboration…

The Baby Cot Shop, which launched back in 2008, has gone from strength to strength. Over the pandemic, our premium Chelsea store has been recognised as one of 80 inspirational businesses by the UK government, we’ve helped more international mums than ever find their perfect nursery and even rebranded our website. But none of this would be possible without Sage and their software support for all things behind-the-scenes – daily accounting, reports and stock keeping. The company helps entrepreneurs and their businesses around the world by offering solutions for managing money and staff.  Fast-forward to July 2021 and The Baby Cot Shop’s founder is lighting up billboards across London’s roads, buses and shopping centres promoting Sage, with the words ‘The Baby Cot Shop is bossing Chelsea’.   BOSS IT SAGE Toks Aruoture   This campaign proves that business isn’t just about the numbers, it’s about the presence in your local community too. The Baby Cot Shop is proud to be a small business that makes a big impact in Chelsea, consistently lifting community spirit and guiding mums-to-be and new mums who are looking for a completely tailored shopping experience.  What’s more, we’ve ‘kept calm and carried on,’ which is what we like to call our little secret to bossing it over the pandemic. In an unpredictable and challenging business climate, we’ve launched an exclusive range of luxurious nursery collections such as the London Grey Collection Set and Grace Rose Collection Set, collaborated with Fertility Network UK donating 15% of sales of the Chelsea Cot Bed to charity and introduced virtual consultations and tours for customers to walk around the store from the comfort of their home.

So how did Toks Aruoture go from business entrepreneur to billboard fame?

“It’s important to hold on to your business vision but remain flexible to how it all comes together,’ she says. “This gives you room to manoeuvre in unpredictable situations such as the pandemic.”
